International Print Exhibition

From 11th September to 6th November the Royal Photographic Society’s famous International Print Exhibition will be filling Gallery II at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

The Royal Photographic Society was founded in 1853, in an age when photography was in its very early stages. Since then it has been a leading force in pushing and promoting the medium of photography.

The International Print Exhibition has been staged almost every year since The Royal Photographic Society was founded and includes a wide and varied range of genres and styles of photography.

It also includes experimental prints, which are showcased alongside more traditional styles work – with a range of artistic and documentary works alongside many others.

All exhibited pieces have been selected from an open submission and the exhibition offers a fascinating snapshot of, and insight into the photographic practice on a worldwide scale.

Entrance to the exhibit is free and really is a feast for the eyes!
