Aberystwyth Arts Centre will be the only UK venue to host this excellent touring exhibition from the Japan Foundation.
This exhibition also coincides with a study day run in conjunction with the National Centre of Ceramics Wales and the Ceramic Gallery.
The exhibition which is entitled “Japanese Pottery: The Rising Generation from Traditional Japanese Kilns” will run at Aberystwyth Arts Centre from 23rd October to the 5th January 2011, and admission is free.
There will also be a one off ‘study day’ on 25th November which will include talks from guest speakers and a handling session so that those lucky enough to get one of the limited places can see these wonderful pieces close up and really appreaciate their beauty and the excellent craftsmanship.
For your chance to book a place at the study day, or purely for more information please email email@example.com or phone 01970 622 192 and ask for Louise Chennell.
The Japan Foundation aims to enable and deepen the cultural understanding between Japan and the UK through international cultural exchange and the spreading of knowledge through exhibits such as this exclusive one in Aberystwyth.
