Borth Station museum was opened in 2011 and has been a huge success since this date.
The museum is situated on a working railway platform in the village, and received substantial funding to cover much of the costs of repair work which is evidently money well spent when you get to see the stations now refurbished interior.
Containing large amounts of memorabillia donated by local residents, there are a number of interesting and ever changing exhibits, along with an educational video showing some of the history and legends of the village itself.
The museum also houses a working model railway showing the original loop line which no longer exists in the town since the decline of the railways.
The enthusiastic volunteers have many stories to tell, and offer a real insight into many of the possesions on display within the museum.
Entry is free, although donations are excepted and go towards to upkeep of this wonderful museum.
