I live in Penparcau, near Aberystwyth and was walking around there one day and saw a forest by garth dinas. I thought it looked interesting and decided to see what was it like. It is a beautiful site, but as I was walking through I saw a figure in the corner of my eye, as I looked I did see it but after
10 seconds it disappeared. I fled out of there straight home.
I stupidly decided to go again but with my dog. We walked quickly through and made it all the way around until the exit, I saw the figure again at the top of a mud bank, He looked cheerful.I looked at my dog and she was wining on the floor. When I got home we took her to the vet, she was fine. I don't know anything else about this figure,But I'm not going in there again on my own

We are trying to trace a friend from Aberystwyth who was in training for the ministry in Aber around the late 1980's, we think at the Theo Coll. Might you be able to help? Her name is Ann Job, a small Scotswoman. If you don't know, perhaps you could suggest a further line of enquiry we might take.

Filthy place, would not let animals eat here. The toilet is disgusting and the service is not much better.
Surprised it has not been shut down.

I have to agree with Mike,
Having eaten at a wide variety of takeaways all over the world this one would definatly feature in my top 3. In Aber and surrounding area by far the best.
If you don't believe me try it for yourself you won't be disappointed.
Bon appetite !

The Shilam has always been the best Indian restaurant for miles around in our opinion & we`ve eaten in a fair few over the years..
Our meal last night was exceptional as always. I can highly recommend the Shilam for a fist class meal, first class, polite, friendly & attentive service in a spotlessly clean restaurant.
It is deservedly a very popular restaurant recently refurbished with very comfortable chairs. A retsaurant that keeps it`s main staff for a long time which says a lot for the working conditions too. Loyal staff & loyal customers .
