The famous Penparcau flats are getting a makeover!
Amongst the reasons for the makeover is the need to make the homes more energy efficient.
It is hoped that the project, which is costing just over half a million pounds in grant money will also work towards making the flats a more pleasant place to live.
The flats, a prominent local landmark on the hill at Penparcau are home to a few hundred local residents and have been so for decades.
The new makeover, which is being carried out by Tai Ceredigion, should reduce residents heating bills by approximately 40%, by upgrading the wall insulation.
Further to this there will be improved parking and bike storage, along with upgraded facilities for waste storage.
