This February its your chance to catch the times classic The Railway Children at Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
The Arts Centre Youth Theatre are delighted to bring you this amazing story on the main theatre stage.
This production has been adapted and directed by Richard Hull.
Edith Nesbit’s ‘The Railway Children’ was published almost 100 years ago, and follows the lives of Roberta, Peter, and Phyllis are very happy living in their spacious middle class home, along with their two loving parents, house servants and personal chef. However one evening a simple knock at the door sees their father mysteriously taken away by unknown two men.
Suddenly the family are all but alone and their mother moves the whole family to a small cottage deep in the Yorkshire countryside, and once settled the three children start upon a series of wonderful adventures, from stopping a train filled with passengers from hitting a landslide, to helping a poor exile from Russia until they eventually solve the mystery surrounding their father’s disappearance.
The show runs from February 24th – February 26th and tickets start at £6.50.
