Action Taken On Station Clock
Aberystwyth’s famous station clock is to be repaired according to the buildings current owners.
Over 4300 hours have passed since the clock stopped ticking and fed up locals have it seems had enough.
After numerous complaints to the pub chain owners, they are finally taking steps to get it up and running again.
The clock has been telling the time to all who enter the station since it was built in 1925 by Great Western Railways.
Luckily in Aberystwyth the trains are so regular, being just one every two hours that no one really needs to look up at it to know if they are on time for the next departure.
Let’s hope that that when it’s fixed the train station clock has got plenty of time left in it yet…!
